> Who we are
In this framework, we develop our activities according to three paths: pedagogic, economic and social. The first undertakes actions to sensitize the public to move towards the principles of fair trade: produce, exchange, consume differently. Our path is to encourage social organization and cooperative work: associations, cooperatives, micro- enterprises are our most important partners. The strengthening of the economic self sufficiency of our partners: we favor mixed farming and only buy the excess of production that assures additional income to the producer. The support of organic farming: the rejection of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, the respect of production cycles and crop rotation. Relation with our partners that are strong and long lasting: dialogue, understanding, respect, confidence and transparency are essential. The evaluation of work all along the line: equity implies that each of us has the power to live in dignity from our work.
